This chair was designed for an exhibition. It was intended to be manufactured within an apartment building, and designed to be made with minimal noise (even quieter than a vacuum cleaner) and with minimal hand tools. Since cutting wood involves noise and vibration, iron pipes, which can be easily cut with a pipe cutter, were chosen as the frame material. Surprisingly, the drilling process itself is quite quiet.

とある展示の為の椅子。マンション内で製作出来ることを想定しており、掃除機の音よりも小さな音と最小限の手工具で制作する前提でデザインした。木材の場合は切断に音と振動を伴うため、パイプカッターで容易に切断可能な鉄パイプをフレーム材として選定した。案外、穴あけ作業の音は小さいのである。
